The Edgar journal, named after Edgar Pelichet (1905-2002), former curator of the Musée de Nyon, is published twice a year.
From 1938 to 1980, Edgar Pelichet was curator of the Musée historique et des Porcelaines at the Château de Nyon, and helped to found the Musée du Lac Léman in 1954, which has since become the Musée du Léman. Appointed cantonal archaeologist, he was fascinated by the history of ancient Nyon. Colonia Iulia Equestris originally from Nyon.
